Global Search: Experience in Recruiting for Foreign Clients in a Complex Niche
Our client, a major petrochemical company, made the strategic decision to implement a groundbreaking automated technology for managing production processes—one that has no analogs in the Russian market. To successfully launch this system, the client required a highly skilled engineer with specialized expertise in petrochemicals, process automation, and experience with advanced management systems. Following a thorough analysis, we determined that such specialists were not available in Russia and redirected our search to the Indian market.
Figures and Facts:
- Search Speed: The first three candidates were presented within ten days.
- Candidate Funnel: Eleven resumes were submitted to the client, resulting in one finalist.

Project Features:
- The primary focus was on candidates with experience in implementing automated management systems in large petrochemical corporations in India, such as Reliance Industries and Indian Petrochemicals Corporation
- Key competencies for the candidate included expertise in Advanced Process Control (APC) systems, knowledge of polyethylene and polypropylene polymerization processes, and proficient English language skills.
Organizing the Candidate's Introductory Visit to Russia: Following the approval procedures and prior to the offer signing, the company decided to invite the finalist candidate to Russia. This visit aimed to familiarize the candidate with the plant, future colleagues, and living conditions in the city. Given the significant climatic differences between Russia and India, the client wanted the candidate to assess the environment and adapt to potential living conditions in advance.
The MPH Vostok team took responsibility for organizing the candidate's entire trip, including:
- Purchasing round-trip airline tickets from India to Moscow, as well as transfers to the project city.
- Booking accommodations and creating a detailed itinerary for the candidate’s stay.
- Arranging transfers from the airport to the hotel and back.
- Providing guidance and assistance in preparing the visa and entry documents for Russia.
