Rotating Equipment Engineer, turbocharger equipment.

Our Customer is a large international oil and gas company-Operator.

Duties:

  • Performs activities as required to ensure compliance with labour safety, industrial safety rules, company’s Life Saving Rules, Goal Zero, Golden Rules, Technical Integrity and Process Safety;Implements Rotating Equipment Maintenance Strategies and Procedures for LNG plant in compliance with Russian Regulations and Standards;
  • Prepares and Implements of SAP Maintenance Programs, including Shut Down and Campaign programs, in order to ensure Integrity, Safe and Reliable Operation and maximum Availability of LNG plant. This includes reviewing inventory of required spare parts, ensuring Material Requisitions have been prepared in time and monitor that spare parts are supplied well in advance of the scheduled execution;
  • Ensures that Work Orders are prepared in SAP for all Rotating Equipment related Maintenance Activities, including Mechanical Isolation Procedures, guidelines, checklists and Job Safety Analysis;
  • Generates periodic status reports on Rotating Equipment systems related to dedicated facilities. This includes daily report, condition monitoring exception and analysis reports etc.;
  • Identifies spare parts required for reliable operation of the Company facilities and raise Material Master requests for such;
  • Carries out Troubleshooting/Inspection and involve in Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Prepares Corrective Maintenance plans and detailed schedules, including materials and manpower resources. Maintains trip event and failure log in records, and implement corrective actions identified;
  • Interfaces with HSE Department in relation technical incidents and emergency cases investigation and investigation reporting;
  • Develops reliability and safety improvement projects for facilities. Develops agreed design upgrades of rotating equipment systems. Prepares and implement plant changes, including Work Packs for execution of the modifications (together with Engineering support from office, as appropriate);
  • Reviews Engineering Design proposals, studies, drawings and documentation when delegated;
  • Provides technical support with respect to installation, troubleshooting and start-up of equipment on dedicated facilities. This includes participating in integrated commissioning activities, check and sign the handover and acceptance documentation on behalf of dedicated facilities;
  • Validates as-built drawings against designs and provide input into Unica. Ensures key drawings and documentation are kept up date;
  • Maintains equipment histories and technical information in SAP for all maintenance activities;
  • Makes recommendations for improvements of SAP Maintenance system and SAP Warehouse system. These includes reviewing and changing stock levels, removing duplicate Material Masters and rationalise stocking where required;
  • Prepares and checks documentation related to repair and maintenance of rotating equipment;
  • Constantly maintains the high level of knowledge in Rotating Equipment engineering, by way of studying technical documentation of the equipment manufacturers, specialised literature and periodic publications;
  • Reports regularly the results of work, put forward proposals at labour safety and safety rules meetings, report any failures or abnormal operation of systems to the line manager;
  • Checks and registers any actions related to repairs and scheduled maintenance of rotating equipment systems;
  • Ensures that data on equipment is entered in SAP. Ensure key information is kept up date;
  • Puts forward proposals for changes (via MOC) based on results of inspections, tests and maintenance of equipment, manufacturer's recommendations, actual equipment operation and typical faults;
  • Participates in providing feedback and all relevant input into IAP schedule;
  • Provides technical assistance to procurement team with respect to material specification queries, procurement and logistics of rush items;
  • If necessary, acts as Contract Holder for Vendor Contracts for specific equipment as required;
  • Participates in the development of annual financial plans and budgets for Rotating Equipment required to perform scheduled maintenance programmes with allowance for possible unscheduled repairs as required;
  • Performs other tasks received from Line Manager and performs all other responsibilities required for fulfilment of the tasks and functions assigned to the Org.Unit.

 

Requirements:

  • Higher professional (technical) education in Mechanical and additional training in Rotating Equipment and Condition Monitoring, Control & Automation, IT;
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience: gas turbine equipment / rotating equipment;
  • Basics of effective international and Russian legislation with regard to his/her responsibilities;
  • Equipment of the Company’s Assets and the maintenance rules applicable thereto;
  • Technical specifications and principles of development and operation of Rotating Equipment and condition monitoring systems;
  • Recognizes and aware of typical failure modes, methodology for identification of primary causes of failures for rotating equipment running in Oil and Gas facilities;
  • Methods of installation, start-up and commissioning, troubleshooting and repairs of rotating equipment and systems;
  • Business operations management system (SAP);
  • Organisation of production technical support, namely: scheduled preventive maintenance, project operations development and performance;
  • Economics, labour organisation and production management;
  • Production safety requirements;
  • Internal Working Rules, rules of labour and industrial safety, industrial sanitation and fire safety;
  • Requirements to rotating equipment systems by the rules of the RF and international authorities (GOST, API, certifying authorities, ISO, etc.);
  • Rules and standards of HSE;
  • English language skills: B2;
  • Business communication rules.
